Hiring a birth doula can be an incredibly empowering decision for expectant parents! Yay! It’s important to like your doctor and nurses! Your doctor is there to safely deliver your baby, and your nurses are there to assist the doctors, and have other patients to tend to. While a doula is there to support you. Doulas are your advocate, and are trained to be able to help you understand the medical jargon being used to make sure you are making informed decisons. Your doula works for you, while doctors and nurses work for the hospital. Your doula will be working in your best interest before anything else.

Having a postpartum doula is a way to prioritize your healing and increase the time spent bonding with your newborn. Your doula is able to take care of you, household chores, and guide you through the first weeks of having a newborn.

Family support means the world to us and is simply irreplaceable! Our goal is to support you and your family while offering guidance based on the most up to date studies and guidelines. The amount of time that a doula spends with you is up to you and your family.
